The Plain City Historical Society hold it's regular meetings on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 111 West Main Street, Plain City, OH. Doors open at 6:30 PM and meetings start promptly at 7:00 PM.

March 22, 2011 - Historical Society Meeting - Program by UPCO.

April 26, 2011 - Historical Society Meeting - Program by Chris Logan a Civil War Re-enactor. 

May 21, 2011 - Heritage Day in Plain City - Join us as we commemorate the 150 th Anniversary of the Civil War.

May 24, 2011 - Historical Soceity Meeting - Program by Jim Hill, Plain City Chief of Police.


June 21, 2011 - Annual Meeting and Banquet at Der Dutchman Restaurant, South Jefferson Avenue, Plain City, OH. Election of Officers will be held at this meeting and you must have a paid in advance reservation to attend. Social hour and registration will begin at 6:00 PM and dinner will be at 6:30 PM. Business for the evening will be limited to Annual Reports, Elections and a Guest Speaker. The cost is $17.00 per person.

The Plain City Historical Society is selling Souvenir Playing Cards featuring photos from historical Plain City.  Cards can be purchased for $10.00 per deck at the Historical Society, the Plain City Druggist or Lovejoy's Market. Our 2011 Souvenir Calendars have come back from the printers and they are really nice. A limited number of 2011 are still available. These calendars feature photos of and a short bio of Plain City People. They are also available at the Historical Society for $5.00 each. The Cards and Calendars may be purchased by e-mailing us at info@plaincityhistoricalsociety.org.
