1911 State Basketball Champs
The Plain City High School basketball team of 1911 was the best team in Buckeye Land. From the left: Coach John Nau, Ruby Bechtel, Frede Lambka, Howard Foust and Everett Finch. The accomplishment will never be repeated, because there isn't a Plain City High School anymore. The 1911 state tournament was played at Delaware, all good teams of the state competed against each other. There was no Class A or Class AA.
